NEW DELHI: In an attempt to clear confusion on the roads declared as commercial/mixed use areas in the September 15 notification by the Delhi Government, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi on Saturday put the list of 2,183 roads and the notification on its website.

Also placed on the MCD website, mcdonline.gov.in was the September seven notification by the Union Ministry for Urban Development amending the Master Plan 2001, an MCD spokesperson said.

``The placing of the list, as also the September 15 notification by the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, on the website is to clear the prevailing confusion among people and traders of Delhi about the roads which have been declared for commercial/mixed use,'' the spokesperson said.

The MCD had on September 11 designated 1,979 roads in the E, F and G colonies in the capital for commercial/mixed land use as per the September 7 notification of the Urban Development Ministry. Subsequently, it had designated another 200 roads, including over 100 in C and D colonies for commercial/mixed use.

The list was then sent to the Delhi government for final notification. - UNI
