In all recognised public schools

NEW DELHI: In the wake of complaints that nursery schools were not following Delhi High Court guidelines for admissions, the Government on Thursday said it was closely monitoring the admission process in all recognised public schools.

``We have asked the recognised public schools to furnish the admission schedule, number of seats proposed to be filled by them at entry class, prescribed application fee, sample copy of the application form along with the terms and conditions for the eligibility of the child for admission,'' said Delhi Education Minister Arvinder Singh Lovely.

Officials would also ensure that the kids seeking admission in the schools are not called for interview while schools offered land at concessional rates are implementing freeship quota to economically poor children. ``Action would be taken as per law against the schools violating the High Court guidelines,'' said the minister.-PTI
