NEW DELHI: To lend a helping hand to HelpAge India, an organisation working for the elderly, a theatrical musical extravaganza, “Mahim Junction”, was staged at India Islamic Centre on Lodhi Road here on Friday.

A retro recreation on stage of films for the elderly folks by the Hungry Heart Festival, the theatrical act was scripted and directed by veteran theatre personality Sohaila Kapur.

The theatre focused on the masala mix of Bollywood, politics and the underbelly of Bombay of the 1970s.
