NEW DELHI: A young man was killed and three injured when a Tata-407 vehicle ploughed into them at Nangloi here on Friday.

The mishap took place around 8 a.m. when the victims were standing at a bus stop. They were taken to a nearby hospital where Raghunath was declared brought dead. Two of the injured were identified as Mala and Poonam.

The police have registered a case of causing death due to rash and negligent driving.

75-year-old killed by mini-bus

NEW DELHI: A 75-year-old retired government employee who ran a consultancy firm in Chittaranjan Park was killed when a mini-bus knocked him down in Kalkaji here on Thursday. He was later identified as Makhan Lal Das.

Hurt as bike collides with trolley

NEW DELHI: A 25-year-old Yogesh sustained injuries when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a trolley ferrying iron beams in Govindpuri on Thursday night. The motorcycle was dragged along some distance by the trolley and it caught fire. Yogesh, a software engineer with a firm in Mehrauli, sustained burns and has been admitted to a hospital. The trolley driver, Suresh Chand Yadav, has been arrested.
