NEW DELHI: The Delhi High Court has sought an explanation from the Centre and the city government for delay in implementation of the Delhi Apartment Ownership Act 1987 that deals with issues related to ownership of flats in multi-storey apartments.

Hearing a PIL seeking implementation of the Act, a Division Bench of Chief Justice M K Sharma and Justice Sanjeev Khanna sought an Action Taken Report from the Ministry of Urban Development within two weeks.
