Srinagar: Two grenades were recovered by the CRPF from an SUV during routine checking of vehicles on the outskirts of the city in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.

Troops of 164th battalion recovered two grenades from the vehicle near Barthana, which falls under the jurisdiction of police station Parimpora, a police spokesman said.

He said the driver, Showkat Ahmed Dar, was detained and a case registered.
