NEW DELHI: The Women Welfare and Child Development Committee of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi has started a zone-wise campaign to create awareness among municipal women employees about sexual harassment.

The campaign was started on Monday with a meeting in Town Hall that was attended by employees from the offices and institutions of Rohini Zone and members of the Sexual Harassment Redressal Committee. Committee chairman Meera Akolia and Deputy Commissioner P.K. Gupta were among those present at the meeting.

Addressing the press conference, Women Welfare Committee chairman Rekha Gupta said: “The campaign has been initiated to educate women employees of the MCD about the definition of sexual harassment.
