NEW DELHI: Three persons have been arrested by the Crime Branch of the Delhi police for allegedly running a betting racket on the Asia Cup cricket match between Sri Lanka and Pakistan on Sunday. A laptop and mobile phones have been seized from them.

Acting on a tip-off that some persons were running a betting racket from a flat in Rohini, the police mounted a raid and arrested three persons, identified as Rakesh Gandhi, Rakesh Narula and Sunil Gupta. Investigations allegedly revealed that they had received bets worth Rs.7 lakh.
