The United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF) is accepting applications for the 2011 Fulbright-Nehru International Education Administrators' Seminar.

A two-week seminar slated for October 2011, it is designed for mid-to senior-level Indian college and university administrators with at least two years' experience in international programme development and management at their institutions in India. Deans, department heads, directors of international centres or offices, foreign student advisers and registrars who have substantial responsibility for enhancing the international dimension of their institutions and who wish to build capacity of their faculty and students through international collaborations, exchanges and innovative curricular design can apply.

The seminar will enable participants to learn about various facets of US higher education including the types of institutions, accreditation, curriculum development, fund-raising, student services and international education on the US campuses, as well as share knowledge on Indian higher education.

Topics addressed during visits and meetings at select campuses and organisations will also include research collaborations, faculty and student exchanges, and study abroad. Ten Indian higher education administrators will be selected to participate in the seminar. Fellowship details and application materials are posted on the USIEF website at .
