It was yet another pleasant day for Delhiites on Monday with the minimum and maximum temperatures remaining at normal levels.

The mercury is set to go high from today (Tuesday) with the weatherman predicting the maximum temperature to be 27 degrees Celsius.

Monday's maximum was recorded at 25.5 degrees Celsius, which is one degree above normal, and the minimum was 11.4 degrees Celsius, which is normal, the MeT Department said.

The early morning chill dissipated as the sun shone bright through the day with people coming out to enjoy their Mahashivratri holiday.

Delhiites have been experiencing chill during early morning and night hours for the past couple of days, but according to MeT department the weather conditions would improve in the coming days.

On Tuesday, the maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 27 and 13 degrees Celsius, the MeT office said.
