Ludhiana: Former Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh’s aide B.I.S. Chahal was questioned for three hours on Tuesday by a team of State Vigilance Bureau officials in connection with the Ludhiana City Centre scam case.

Even though his name does not appear in the charge-sheet submitted by the Vigilance Bureau in the case, official source claimed that Mr. Chahal, erstwhile media adviser to Capt. Amarinder Singh, was in possession of important information related to the scam.

Coming out of the Vigilance Bureau office here, a visibly disturbed Mr. Chahal, who wielded immense influence under the previous Amarinder Government, said he was asked questions pertaining to the Ludhiana City Centre case but refused to elaborate since the matter is sub judice. - PTI
