Three years after her acquittal in the Red Fort shoot-out case, the Delhi High Court on Thursday allowed the wife of a death row convict and Lashkar-e-Toiba militant to access her bank account which was frozen by the police during the probe in 2000.

A Division Bench of Justice S. Ravindra Bhat and Justice G. P. Mittal said Rehmana Yusuf Farooqui, wife of Mohd Arif, was acquitted by this very court and the prosecution has not filed any appeal in the Supreme Court challenging the acquittal and allowed her application for de-freezing of the State Bank of India account in the Ghazipur branch. - PTI
