NEW DELHI: An international conference on road infrastructure -- India Roads 2009: Better Roads Better India – Outlook, Opportunities & Way Ahead – will be held here this Friday where global experts will share path-breaking technologies being used in making highways and roads across the globe.

Being organised by the Foundation of Infrastructure Research Studies Training in association with AM Events, the international conference will help policy-makers at state transport and development boards, financial institutions, infrastructure development and construction companies, cement and concrete industry professionals and iron and steel industry professionals to update themselves on latest technologies and solutions being used in the developed countries.

Union Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways Mahadev Singh Khandela will be the chief guest at the conference, while Central Department of Road Transport & Highways Secretary Brahm Dutt will deliver the keynote address.
