The blood-stained cargo trousers of deceased 26/11 attacker Abu Ismail and a handmade map allegedly recovered from his pocket were shown to the Bombay High Court on Wednesday during the prosecution's argument against the acquittal of Fahim Ansari.

Fahim and Sabahuddin Ahmed, both accused of preparing maps of 26/11 targets, were acquitted by a trial court here last May. The State appealed against their acquittal.

Refuting the lower court's observation that the sketch found on Ismail had no bloodstains or wrinkles, public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam said the sketch was in the right pocket of the trousers whereas Ismail was injured on the left side.
