National Book Trust, India, has organised a four-week training course in book publishing here in the Capital.
Forty-two candidates selected on an all-India basis will attend the training course that has been designed keeping in view the needs of the industry in the Indian context.
Members of faculty drawn from leading universities, institutions and publishing houses provide an insight into various aspects of book publishing. Of late the Trust has made arrangements to send participants for training to different publishing houses.
NBT India has been organising short-term courses in publishing (of one to four-week duration) across the country to meet the growing demands of the publishing industry. So far it has conducted 13 training courses in Delhi.
The new course started earlier this week.
