Delhi International Airport Private Limited (DIAL) has planned a cargo village in the vicinity of the existing cargo terminal at Delhi airport, Minister of State for Civil Aviation K. C. Venugopal informed the Rajya Sabha on Thursday. The proposed village is part of a larger plan to promote Cargo gateway in India.

After renovating facilities for passengers at Terminal-3 of Indira Gandhi International Airport here, the cargo terminal was upgraded to meet the emerging requirement of cargo services and a new Greenfield cargo terminal was constructed and made operational.
