New Delhi: A Delhi court has sentenced a man from Jammu and Kashmir to seven years’ rigorous imprisonment for possessing explosives and carrying Rs.49 lakh hawala money meant for terror activities in the country.

Aijaz Hussain Khwaja, 48, was also imposed with a fine of Rs.1 lakh by Additional Sessions Judge Dharmesh Sharma. The court refused to grant any leniency to Khwaja, who claimed to have received the master crafts person of the year award from the President in 2003 and 2005.
