The Income Tax Department on Wednesday unearthed undisclosed income amounting to over Rs.6 crore following raids conducted at nine business establishments in western Madhya Pradesh.
The officials said undisclosed income of Rs.51 lakh was unearthed from a seeds business firm here.
Similarly, during raids conducted at various establishments in Barwani, about 15 km from here, I-T sleuths found undisclosed income to the tune of Rs.4.80 crore from two hospitals and one medical investigation centre.
They also found undisclosed income of Rs.51 lakh from two Sarafa businessmen, Rs.41 lakh from a machinery seller and Rs.25 lakh from two ready-made garment dealers. - PTI
