A court here on Friday extended the police custody of Ulhas Prabhakar Khaire, an accused in the multi-crore Stock Guru scam case, until November 24 after the Delhi Police Economic Offences Wing told the court that he had to be taken to Goa, Mumbai and Ratnagiri to recover documents relating to the case.

Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Pulastya Pramachala also remanded his wife and co-accused Raksha J. Urs to judicial custody till November 30. Her eight-month-old daughter will also be taken along to jail because of the child’s age and requirement of maternal care.

Police said various property-related documents, bank accounts, laptops, and hard disk containing information about the investors, wrist watches and other evidence had to be recovered at Prabhakar’s instance.
