Sri Adi Sankara Sewa Samajam celebrated the 165{+t}{+h}Aradhana festival of Saint Thyagaraja at the Sri Ishta Sidhi Vinayakar temple in Mayur Vihar Phase-3 here over the weekend.

Students and upcoming musicians from Mayur Vihar, Noida and Vasundhara Enclave paid tributes to Thyagaraja by singing his compositions. Later, Dr. Vasanthi Krishna Rao and her disciples rendered pancharatna krithis .

Dr. Rao was accompanied in the pancharatna by R. Saravanan on violin and K. Sreeram on mridangam .

Sree Shanmukananda Sangeetha Sabha vice-president R. Parameshwar honoured the artistes. He commended the Sri Adi Sankara Sewa Samajam's efforts in successfully conducting the Aradhana festival.
