Lekha Divya, CSIR Research Associate, Department of Zoology and Centre for Bioinformatics, University of Kerala, has been selected by the Indian National Science Academy (INSA) for the award of Young Scientist medal 2011. The award carries a bronze medal, a certificate, and a cash prize of Rs.25,000. The recipient will be considered for start-up research support with seed money. The awardee will also be considered for a visit abroad with full support for presenting research work. The award will be presented at the anniversary meeting of INSA in December.
