A four-day national level workshop on ‘Planning, guiding and managing tiny and micro enterprises’ will be organised by the Institute of Cooperative Management (ICM) from November 19.

The workshop will be held at ICM, Parassinikadavu near here. A press release said the workshop, organised along with the Bankers Institute of Rural Development (BIRD) Lucknow, is being conducted for chief executives, senior and middle-level officials 40 of NGOs across India.

The workshop aims at equipping the participants to help self help-groups develop sustainable small and medium enterprises in rural areas and sensitise them on gender issues. The programme will be inaugurated by Madhu P., Chairman, North Malabar Gramin Bank.
