A hearing of Kerala State Women's Commission chaired by commission member T. Devi here on Tuesday disposed of 12 complaints.

A press release said the commission disposed of 12 of the total 26 cases came up for the hearing held at Collectorate Conference Hall here in the morning.

DNA test

While the commission ordered for a DNA test in one case, two cases each were referred to the local court and to the Revenue Divisional Officer.

The release said seven complaints were posted for the next hearing of the commission.

The complaints and grievances that were taken up for the hearing include issues involving family disputes, disputes over access to house, and labour problems.

Among those who attended the hearing included women police officers and Social Welfare Department officers.
