The police, on Sunday, arrested a youth accused in a number of theft cases who was absconding for the past two-and-a-half years. Dipu, 27, of Nemom, was arrested from Tamil Nadu. The police said he had many theft cases registered against him in various police stations in the city. A team led by Fort Assistant Commissioner K.S. Suresh Kumar arrested Dipu. He has been remanded in judicial custody. — Staff Reporter
