: Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) spokesman M.M. Hassan has demanded a Vigilance probe into the assignment of 2.33 acres of land in Kasaragod district with right of sale to V.K. Soman of Alappuzha who is an ex-serviceman and a relative of V.S. Achuthanandan when the latter was Chief Minister.

In a statement here on Saturday, he said the assignment of land violating all rules was a clear case of nepotism and corruption. The Kasaragod District Collector had now reported that the land was assigned violating rules.
