UDF members of the University of Kerala Syndicate have demanded a Vigilance probe into allegations of irregularities by former Senate member S.P. Deepak in granting of affiliation to various courses in self-financing colleges.

They demanded scrutiny of all documents related to granting of affiliation to self-financing college courses after Mr. Deepak, who was ousted from the Senate by the Governor, took over as convener of the Syndicate’s affiliation committee.

A memorandum to this effect was submitted to Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and Home Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan, a press release said.
