Mararikulam police register case

: The Mararikulam police have registered a case on the basis of a complaint by SNDP general secretary Vellappally Natesan that he was warned over phone by a person who claimed to be from a foreign country that he would be killed if he spoke anything against KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala.

The Mararikulam police said a case had been registered.

They have made various charges under Section 118 D of Kerala Police Act (any person who causes annoyance to any person in an indecent manner by statements or verbal or comments or telephone calls or calls of any type or by chasing or sending messages or mails by any means) and Section 507 (criminal intimidation by an anonymous communication) of the Indian Penal Code.
