Mahatma Gandhi University will bring out the third allotment list of candidates to postgraduate programmes in the affiliated colleges on August 27.
Applicants may rearrange or delete their existing options, and add new options of colleges before August 26. However, the option to add more colleges has been restricted to the candidates in the existing rank list. The vacant seats in the various colleges have been listed at www.mgu.ac.in.
The university has said that candidates who had accepted the allotments made after the previous rounds may delete higher options specified, if any, in their online submissions. Options that are left undeleted will be considered for the third round of allotment and could also lead to cancellation of allotments made in prior rounds.
Applications are also invited from candidates belonging to the categories of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. The details of reservation seats that remain vacant have been specified in the website of the varsity. Those belonging to such categories, who had filed their applications for the previous allotments, are not required to submit their applications afresh.
Applications to the reserved seats can be made online. Candidates can register their options in the website after remitting the application fee of Rs. 50 at any branch of the Federal Bank, and securing the application number and the security key from August 24 to 26.
