Thiruvananthapuram: Thousands of United Democratic Front (UDF) activists on Thursday marched to the 53 taluk offices and staged dharnas in front of them demanding the resignation of Forest Minister Benoy Viswom.

Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee president Ramesh Chennithala inaugurated the State-level function in front of the Nedumangad taluk office, near here. Mr. Chennithala said the UDF would strengthen its agitation seeking the Forest Minister’s resignation.

He criticised the Chief Minister for shifting from the position he had taken as the Leader of the Opposition when demanding a CBI probe into the ice-cream parlour case.
