Activists of the Students’ Federation of India and the All India Students Federation clashed with each other at Sree Kerala Varma College on Tuesday. Two students were injured in the clash.

AISF leaders alleged that the SFI activists attacked AISF district committee member Chillog Thomas Achut, when he was admitted to the district hospital.

But the SFI refuted the allegation and said their union general secretary Vaisakhan and another activist Anu Raj were attacked by AISF activists. Two SFI activists have been admitted to Co-operative Hospital.

Meanwhile, AISF workers took out a procession in the city demanding the arrest of SFI activists who allegedly unleashed violence on the campus.

The SFI too has called for protest on Wednesday at various campuses. Violence was also reported from Thriprayar Srirama Polytechnic on Monday.
