: The mortal remains of T.S. Krishnan, 75, who started the first bookstall in Palakkad, Educational Book Supplies and Ambal Communications at Sultanpet, were cremated at Thirunellai, near here, on Saturday. He was also the first to start Lino type (Malayalam alphabets in computer) at his Ambal printing press.

He is survived by wife Balambal, and two sons T.K. Prakash, former Indian basketball team member, and T.K. Rajesh.

He died after a brief illness at his house in Sultanpet on Friday.
