Tribesmen under the aegis of the Adivasi Gothra Jana Sabha (AGJS) and Adivasi Lalit Munnetta Samithi (ADMS) will take out a march to the residence of Tribal Welfare Minister P.K. Jayalakshmi at Valad near Mananthavady on Sunday raising a slew of demands.

Sreeraman Koyyon, president ADMS, and P.K. Karunakaran, president, AGJS, said the Minister was a failure as the tribesmen in the State were yet to get any benefit after the Minister had taken the charge of the Tribal Welfare Department. Though the organisations had gone on a relay fast in front of the offices of the Aralam Farm and Tribal Resettlement and Development Mission at Aralam demanding solution to issues of the tribesmen rehabilitated there for 75 days, the office of the Minister was yet to respond to it, they said.
