Train services between Chennai and Kerala through Coimbatore were disrupted after four crude-oil-laden tankers derailed on the yard line of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. at nearby Irugur on Sunday. The tankers fell on an electric traction post, railway sources said. The Alappuzha-Dhanbad, the Ernakulam-Bangalore Inter-city, the Rapthi Sagar, the Mangalore-Chennai Egmore, the Kongu-Nizamuddin and the Thiruvananthapuram-Hydereabad Sabari express trains were delayed.
