PATHANAMTHITTA: The Consortium for Educational Communication (CEC), attached to the University Grants Commission, will launch a training programme in e-scripting on June 7, according to CEC advisor G.D. Sharma. Mr. Sharma, accompanied by CEC programme director M.M. Pant and programme coordinator Rajendra Mishra was talking to The Hindu in Thiruvalla on Tuesday.

Mr. Sharma was here in connection with the ongoing five-day CEC-sponsored Multimedia E-content Development Training Programme for college teachers that began at the Mar Athanaseus College For Advanced Studies in Thiruvalla on Monday.

According to him, the proposed e-scripting training programme will be supported by virtual mode, video-conferencing and virtual network. Mr. Sharma said that the CEC would identify the colleges for the e-scripting training programme.
