The State's economy is highly dependant on the service sector and the Rs.105 crore earmarked for tourism sector in the State Budget is adequate, the Association of Tourism Trade Organisations India (ATTOI) has said. In a statement here, ATTOI president Sreekumara Menon and secretary Anish Kumar lauded Finance Minister Thomas Isaac for the package to develop roads. The Rs.40,000-crore programme, if implemented in five years, would help bring more investments to the State.
