Cooperation Minister C.N. Balakrishnan has said that steps will be taken to increase the number of beds in the Government Medical College Hospital at Mulankunnathukavu by 800. He held talks with the hospital Superintendent and Principal here on Saturday. The Minister said that pending drinking water supply projects for the hospital would be completed. He stated that the possibility of starting a police station near the hospital would be explored. — Staff Reporter
