Activists of the Kerala Students’ Union (KSU) burnt an effigy of Home Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan in front of the Town police station here on Wednesday.

KSU activists led by union district unit president Sudeep James burnt Mr. Radhakrishnan in effigy in protest against the alleged failure on the part of the police to take action against Students Federation of India (SFI) activists who were allegedly behind the attacks on KSU workers.

Mr. James said the KSU would intensify its protest during the Home Minister’s next visit to the district.
