Under the auspices of district panchayat
KANNUR: District-level medical/engineering entrance examination training and higher education career guidance counselling programme for 2007-08 will be launched here soon.
The programme is being conducted under the auspices of the District Panchayat. A meeting of career guidance and entrance examination coaching convenors will be held at the District Panchayat Hall at 10 a.m. on October 6. The programme envisages offering coaching and guidance to all higher secondary students.
The programme is being jointly launched by the State Higher Secondary Directorate, Vocational Higher Secondary Directorate, State Institute of Educational Technology, and the IT@School Project.
As per the programme, students will be offered medical entrance coaching from 8.30 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. and engineering coaching from 4.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. and career guidance, personality development, and communication skill classes from 12.30 p.m. to 1.30 p.m., on all working days.
