Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana (SNDP) Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan on Tuesday said politics in the State was centered around minority appeasement. He was inaugurating the second Hindu Parliament here. Mr. Natesan said the existing situation was the result of the lack of unity among majority communities. “Putting aside all differences to play an active role in politics would auger well for majority communities”, he said.

According to him, rights should be obtained on the basis of the population strength of the community.

However, it was wrong for any section to take benefits at the cost of other communities, he added.

Kerala Pulayar Maha Sabha general secretary T.V. Babu presided over the meeting. Hindu Parliament ideological wing head K.G. Muraleedharan Unnithan, State general secretary C.P. Sugathan, Guruvayur Sreekrishna Temple Tanthri Chennas Dinesan Namboodiripad, Shakthiveda Wellness Mission founder Rishidev Narendran, Yogakshema Sabha president Akeeramon Kalidasa Bhattathiri, former SNDP Yogam president C.K. Vidyasagar, Swami Aswathi Thirunal, T.P. Sankarankutty Nair and Thottam Narayanan Namboodiri also spoke on the occasion.
