The Information Technology infrastructure in Kerala and the investment opportunities in the State are on show at this year's CeBIT, the international IT fair which began at Hannover in Germany on March 6.
A delegation from the State comprising S. Srinivas, Special Secretary, IT; Technopark CEO Girish Babu, Infopark CEO Gigo Joseph, and Technopark Senior Business Development Manager M. Vasudevan is participating in the event along with representatives of Technopark companies Palnar Technologies and Allianz Cornhill and Infopark companies Arbitron, Clasys Technologies and Suyati Technologies.
Kerala IT, the unified brand developed to promote business opportunities in the field of information technology in the State, is showcasing 1,000 acres of IT space available in Technopark Phase III, Technocity, Kollam Technopark, Cherthala Infopark, and Cyberparks at Kozhikode and Kannur. Various other investment opportunities in the IT sector across the State are also being featured.
Commenting on Kerala IT's participation in CeBIT, Mr. Girish Babu said, “We are receiving positive response from the IT industry and we are very upbeat that some of them would decide to invest in the State.”
Mr. Gigo Joseph said the delegation had met business organisations from around the globe.
“As the branding of Kerala IT, this year we distributed eco-friendly bags which are a huge hit with the visitors to our booth,” he said.
