Manikya Mangala St. Clara Badira Vidyalaya emerged victorious at the sports meet organised by the District Deaf Sports Council here at the Maharaja's College ground on Sunday. The school won the trophy with 192 points.

The Assisi Deaf School, Muvattupuzha, came second with 188 points and Father Augustine Vinici School for Deaf at Mundamveli came third with 83 points.

Nearly 300 children participated in about 50 items in the sports meet that was held in the sub-junior and junior categories.

Dominic Presentation, MLA, inaugurated the meet and E. S. Jose, president, Kerala Chamber of Commerce, distributed the trophies to the winners.
