The 116th Aaradhana celebrations of Sadguru Sri Tyagaraja Swamigal will start with ‘Unchavruthy’ ritual at G.R. Puram, New Kalpathy, on Sunday.

Prominent Carnatic musicians will perform from January 25 to 31 at the Viswanathaswami Temple (Kundambalam), Kalpathy. On January 25, there will be Mangalavadyam by Palakkad Raghunath and party and on January 26, Sangeetha Upanyasam on ‘Sree Thyagaraja Charitam’ will be held by Embar Kasthoori and party.

On January 27, the Carnatic music concert is by well-known musician T.M. Krishna. T.H. Subrahmaniam will be on violin; K.V. Prasad on Mridangam; and Anirudh on Ganjira.

On January 28, there will be a music concert by Sreeranjani Santhana Gopalan, who will be accompanied by Trivandrum Sambath on violin; Nanjil Arul on Mridangam and Kovai Suresh on Ghatom. On January 29, there will be a violin solo by A. Kanyakumari and party, Chennai. On January 30, a music concert by Thirumalai brothers Rangachari and Sri Kasturi will be held. The Aradhana Mahotsavam will conclude on January 31 with a music concert by Trichur Vaidanada Bhagavathar and party followed by a music concert by Abishek Raghuram.
