: The Southern Railway will run the following special trains to clear the extra rush of passengers:

Train No. 06336 Kochuveli-Guwahati fortnightly special express will leave Kochuveli at 8.15 p.m. on September 24, October 8, October 22 and November 5 (Tuesdays) to reach Guwahati at 8.30 p.m. on the fourth day.

Train No. 06335 Guwahati –Kochuveli fortnightly special express will leave Guwahati at 3 p.m. on September 29, October 13, October 27 and November 10 (Sundays) to reach Kochuveli at 11.45 a.m. on the fourth day.

The trains will stop at Kollam, Kayamkulam, Mavelikara, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Arakkonam, Chennai Central, Gudur, Nellore, Vijayawada, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Berhampur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Balasore, Hijili, Midnapore, Bankura, Adra, Asansol, Durgapur, Rampurthat, Malda Town, Barsai Junction, Kishangunj, New Jalpaigiri, Silliguri Junction, New Mal Junction, Hasimara, New Alipurduar Junction, Keonjhar, New Bangaigaon Junction, Goalpura Town and Kamakhya.

Advance reservations will commence on Sunday, according to a Southern Railway release.
