Save Kerala Movement, a socio-cultural organisation, will launch an initiative termed ‘Shadow Assembly', aimed at following social developments and finding out solutions to problems through effective interactions at various levels.

Former judge of Supreme Court, V.R. Krishna Iyer, will inaugurate it at a function to be held at Bharat Tourist Home on July 10.

The organisation intends to study contemporary issues and evolve a consensus on solutions, according to its president, P.R. Padmanabhan Nair.

There will be regular meetings to take stock of the existing situation and suggest methods for improvement, in coordination with the legislature, judiciary and the executive, he said at a press conference here on Thursday.
