Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana (SNDP) Yogam vice-president Thushar Vellappally said that the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) which was confined to two-and-a-half districts of the State, need not try to rule the State all by itself.

Mr. Vellappally was inaugurating the State-level leadership meet of the SNDP Yogam Youth Movement here on Saturday. He said that IUML ministers were unnecessarily creating communal thinking in the State. “This is happening because the Congress (I) does not have the will. The claim of IUML that it is a secular party is a great joke” he said.

He said a common platform would be formed with Hindu and Christian  organisations against the IUML’s attempt ‘to hijack governance.’ Youth Movement central committee convener Anil Tharanilam presided.
