Thrissur: The South Indian Bank has introduced a new credit automation project using software provided by LaserSoft Infosystems. The new system, ‘Loanflo’, would facilitate ‘paperless flow’ of loan sanctioning. “It will help the bank improve its corporate loan sanctioning system by expediting scrutiny of loan applications, appraisal and assessment of limits,” V. A. Joseph, SIB managing director and chief executive officer, was quoted as saying.—Staff Reporter
