Seek arrest of those involved in ragging of an MBBS student

PATHANAMTHITTA: The Students Federation of India (SFI) workers took out a march to Pushpagiri Medical College in Thiruvalla on Monday, demanding the immediate arrest of the four medical students allegedly involved in the ragging of a first year MBBS student at the college recently.

Democratic Youth Federation of India district general secretary N. Sajikumar inaugurated the march led by SFI district president R. Manu. The march was blocked by the police about 100 metres away from PMC entrance.

Earlier, the PMC management had suspended four MBBS students, Subin Xavier, Prince, Jayapalan and Amit, pending inquiry, in connection with the alleged ragging of a first-year medical student at the college.
