KANNUR: A two-day national seminar on ‘Literature and visual arts’ will be held at the Sree Narayana College here from September 24.

The seminar, being organised by the department of English in the college, would have six sessions in which experts in the fields would throw light on inter-disciplinary perspective for studying visual arts and literature, department head N. Sajan and convener B.V. Lasitha said here on Tuesday.

Kannur University Pro-Vice-Chancellor A.P. Kuttykrishnan would inaugurate the seminar at the college Seminar Hall at 9.30 a.m. on September 24. Mahatma Gandhi University School of Letters Director V.C. Harris would deliver the keynote address on ‘Theatre and film.’ Digital artist Vivek Ram would speak on literature and digital arts. Ambili Anna Markose from Hyderabad University and C. Vipin Kumar from EFL University’s Lucknow campus would also participate in the seminar, they said.
