Space Week celebrations

The Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre will organise an essay competition for high school and higher secondary school students in connection with World Space Week celebrations. The subject for the competition is ‘Why do we continue to explore space.’ Essays should be handwritten in English, Malayalam or Hindi. The maximum word length is 2,000 words. Painting competition

The Ambalamedu Club of FACT Cochin Division will organise the R. Krishnan Memorial State-level painting competition at 10 a.m. on Sunday at the club auditorium for children.

Teacher’s Day celebration

Teacher’s Day and Onam celebrations were held at Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, Vaduthala, under the auspices of the school and the school Parent-Teacher Association.

Fr. Thomas Poovelikkal presided. School Principal Devassy Chirakkal, administrator Babu Manissery and PTA president P.T. Joy spoke. Festival song and ‘pookkalam’ competitions were held.
