The Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau on Tuesday raided a supply office at Neyyattinkara and seized unaccounted money amounting to Rs.27,500. Deputy Superintendent of Police S. Rajendran, who led the raid, said the money was the monthly pay-off to the Civil Supplies Department officials in reciprocation for condoning the illegal diversion of subsidised essential commodities from wholesale and retail ration outlets. — Staff Reporter
